- When does the new tariff for power distribution and supply come into force?
The new tariff comes into force on 1 July 2008
- Which institution coordinates and approves the tariff changes of E.ON Bulgaria
By virtue of Decision № Ц-021/26.06.2008, the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, which is a special government authority with regulating functions in the field of energy and water, approved the new tariff for power supply of E.ON Bulgaria Sales and distribution of E.ON Bulgaria Grid.
- What are the reasons for the tariff changes?
The price increase for the end users is due to the increased prices of the electricity producers and the National Electric Company. (with more than 20%)
- Which clients does the new tariff apply to?
- The changes in the electricity prices apply to all customers in Bulgaria
- For all customers of E.ON Bulgaria SEWRC has determined particular prices (see attached file)
- What is changed in the tariff structure?
A new tariff structure has been introduced, according to which the price for power distribution is split to price for access to the electricity distribution grid of E.ON Bulgaria Grid and a price for transmission over the electricity distribution grid.
- What is price for access?
This is the price that each customer pays for the maintenance and meter reading of the meter reading devices.
- Why the price for access has not been introduced till now?
The access price has been a part of the price for distribution. The split of prices has been approved by SEWRC for a better control over the expenditures.
- When will be the meter reading for June?
- for household and small business clients: 1-10 July
- for big business clients: 1-3 July
- What is the deadline date for paying the invoiced used electricity for June?
- for household and small business clients: 31 July - за големи стопански: 21 юли
- When will be the meter reading for July?
From July the regular clients’ meter reading schedule will be restored:
- for household and small business clients: 14-28 July
- for big business clients: 21-24 July
- Where has new tariff been published?
The new tariff has been published in Dnevnik and Chernomorie newspapers and can also be found on the Internet site of E.ON Bulgaria.

4. What does a customer’s number mean?
The customer’s number is unique for each customer. It is a 10- digit number
which makes easy your access to information or services on our twenty- four
hour telephone line 0700 161 61 or in the Customer Care Cervices as well as
an energy consumption check- up on the Internet page of E.ON Bulgaria

An easy way to learn your customer’s number is from
the energy bill paid this year. In the cash register receipt, after the
information regarding a recipient and an item there is a separate field
where it is written “customer’s number” which is in fact your personal
number.
Fill in this number in the defined for this aim place in the customer’s
card, as we advise you to keep it and use it every time when you need
information, service or inquiry to E.ON Bulgaria. Thus, you will save your
time, as we guarantee you a quick and qualitative service.

What is the purpose for the customer’s card and where can I get it from?
For easy and convenient
services we introduced a customer’s number, which is unique for each of our
customers and in order to be always available without making you remember it
by heart, we offer you a personal customer’s card.
You can receive your customer’s card at all cash-
desks of E.ON Bulgaria, in the
Customers Care Centers and at the
cash- desks of our partners- “Informational
Service” and “Bulgarian Post Offices”.

8. What other opportunities for energy consumption payment
are there, except for paying in cash at a cash- desk?
The energy consumed by you, except for paid in cash at a cash- desk, can be
paid through:

automated teller machine directly from your debit card /using the customer’s
number/;

payment account in your bank- an immediate encashment or a direct debit;
- Internet on

where you need to register your data, a 10- digit customer’s number and a
debit card;

9. How shall I check the monthly accounts?
Choose the most convenient way for you to check the energy bill. We
recommend you to prepare your customer’s number in advance, which will save
time at the time of check- up.

several good ways to do this:

10. How come that on the invoice the consumed electric power
in kWh is multiplied by two different prices?
Under the terms of C- 018 from
28.09.2006 of the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC) form
01.01.2007, the price of the electric power is divided into two components:
-
price of electric distribution /transference/ and
-
price for electric power sale /supply/
Prior to 01.01.2007, the total
price was also formed from the prices of these two activities (distribution
and supply) but in line with the new legislative requirements, they have to
be indicated in the invoices separately. There is not change in the price as
a whole.
