According to the Energy Act
(EA) prices of electricity in Bulgaria are defined by the State
Energy and Water Regulation Commission.
As of 01.07.2008, with resolution
№ Ц-021 from the 26.06.2008,
the State Energy and Water Regulation Commission approved the following
prices for electricity supply of E.ON Bulgaria Sales AD and for electricity
distribution of E.ON Bulgaria Grid:
I. Prices, VAT excludet, by which E.ON Bulgaria Sales AD sells electricity to
household customers and enterprises of less than 50 employees and annual
turnover below 19.5 million BGN, as follows:

II. Аccording to the amendments in the Excise Duties and Tax Warehouses,
considered as of 01.01.2008, on the commodity “electrical power” for
business customers should be excised to the amount of: -
1.20
BGN per consumed MWh,
VAT excluded.
III. When paying the prices for consumed active electricity, as specified
herein above, also a respective price for transmission through the
distribution grids for respective tariffs and voltage levels is to be paid
at an amount set by SEWRC for the respective distribution company that
performed the service on the respective territory.
A new tariff structure for the distribution price was approved with the same resolution. In accordance with the resolution the distribution price is formed as a total of the access price and transmission price through the distribution grid of E.ON Bulgaria Grid AD for the respective voltage level. The access price is paid by all the customers as the directly connected to substation of the National Electricity Company customers will pay only this price:

1 If you’d like to use another method of measuring of electricity and
have your electric meter replaced, please contact the closest customer service centre of E.ON Bulgaria and submit an application for
meter replacement. The service should be paid according to the price list.
