4. Which institution coordinates and approves E.ON Bulgaria’s prices change?
With decision
№ Ц–22/29.06.2011 г. (Bulgarian version; PDF, 163 KB), the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, which is a special government authority with regulating functions in the field of energy and water, approved the new tariffs for power supply of E.ON Bulgaria Sales AD and distribution of E.ON Bulgaria Grid AD.
5. Which customers do the new prices apply to?
The new electricity prices apply to all consumers in Bulgaria based on a decision of SEWRC (the electricity prices intended for the customers of E.ON Bulgaria are shown in decision

6. In times of price change, how is the consumed energy calculated?
The energy consumed by customers is being proportionally distributed according to the days of the reading period. The days from June are calculated according to the old prices, the days from July- according to the new prices.
7. What is efficient combined generation of heat and electric power (cogeneration)?
Cogeneration is a process of combined production of electricity and heat energy from one and the same power plant. In a worldwide significance, this process leads to higher efficiency of fuels usage, savings of greenhouse gas emissions, and less nature pollution.
8. What is Green energy?
This is energy produced by renewable energy sources (RES) like wind, sun, water, etc. Such production of energy requires bigger investments compared to the conventional ways: NPP, TPP, etc. However, it is environmentally friendly, i.e. it causes less nature pollution.
9. Why should we pay price for energy distribution and access through the energy distribution grid?
The prices for access and energy distribution are part of the price for supplied energy. This part is paid to the Natsionalna Elektricheska Kompania (NEK) and the Electricity System Operator (ESO) for the provided by them services in terms of energy distribution and access through the high voltage energy distribution grid.
10. Does the meter reading period for July change?
The meter reading period will not change for the customers of E.ON Bulgaria. The electricity bills for June and July will be based on the regular consumption period.
12. What is the payment deadline for the energy invoiced during the month of June?
For all customers of E.ON Bulgaria, the payment deadlines of the bills for June remain unchanged.
13. Where have the new prices been published?
The new electricity prices have been published in the newspapers “Dnevnik” and “Narodno delo”
(in the issues from 30.06.2011), as well as the official website of E.ON
